Booster Set Installation

Pumps Uk Ltd were asked to attend site regarding a controls issue on an old Pullen booster set. The set was found to have a faulty control board which were not repairable. The pumps on the booster set were 15 kilo watts which were running constantly without significant flow.
We calculated that the booster set could be replaced with an inverter drive unit, fitted with Lowara hydrovar speed controllers.The new pumps have reduced the power consumption and running costs by over 60% and will pay back the full installation cost within 3 years.
Pumps Uk fully managed the removal and installation of the new booster set. Carrying out the work over one weekend so that this customer would have all the water services available for the full working week.
Pumps UK Ltd sized for a consultant a new booster set to replace a faulty Armstrong unit. The original unit was designed to run constantly with a bleed pipe back to the break tank. We sized a Calpeda fixed speed booster set which pumped directly to the break tanks on the roof and reduced the power consumption of the system by over 50%. The unit was installed over a weekend and the customer had no interruption to their water supply during the working week.

Pumps UK Ltd were asked to design and supply a storm water pumping station for a prestigious block of flats. The tank was built within 2 weeks of it being ordered and delivered to site.
We were asked to attend site so that we could install the pumps in the chamber and commission the float switches and control panel.
Once the system was commissioned we offered a service contract which we undertake every 6 months.
