The PUK VARI COM is now fully WRAS approved!
The PUK VARI BOOST was always built using WRAS approved pumps but recently we took the decision to submit the complete assembled booster for WRAS approval. We are pleased to say we just received this approval!
WRAS stands for ‘Water Regulations Advisory Scheme’ and it certifies that a product meets the required standards for use with mains water supply in the UK. It ensures that products do not waste, misuse, cause undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and ensures quality.
To achieve this we had to generate a lot of paperwork detailing each and every component and build sample PUK VARI COM boosters for testing. After many months of work, we have just received approval.
Many manufacturers don’t go to the extra steps and costs but here at Pumps UK we always go the extra step for our customers assurance.
